What's included in the assessment

The Quantm Security Readiness Assessment is a 1–2 week fixed-scope review of your business's current cybersecurity posture. We examine the six areas where Canadian SMBs are most often exposed:

• Identity and access Microsoft 365, Entra ID, MFA enforcement, admin privilege review
• Email security phishing controls, business email compromise risk, DMARC/DKIM/SPF configuration
• Endpoint protection device coverage gaps, EDR status, unmanaged devices
• Backup and recovery backup integrity, recovery time objectives, ransomware resilience
• Incident response readiness documented procedures, escalation contacts, insurer notification requirements
• Cyber insurance alignment mapping your current controls to what your insurer actually requires

At the end of the assessment, you receive a written report with a prioritized remediation roadmap ranked by risk level, not complexity.

Who it's for

The assessment is designed for Canadian businesses with 5–200 staff that don't have a dedicated internal security team. It's a common starting point for professional services firms, healthcare practices, financial services companies, and any business facing cyber insurance renewal questions.

What happens after

Most clients use the assessment report to either fix gaps themselves or engage Quantm for ongoing managed security (MDR). There's no obligation to continue beyond the assessment.
